Rusal is going to sell the surplus stock of the Zaporozhye Aluminum Works (ZALK) to compensate for the current expenses to keep the company operating.
According to Rusal statement, it needs to pay taxes, wages and for energy carriers. The company leases its premises.
As has been reported by the State Property Fund, on June 15-16 police stopped 3 trucks that carried machinery and metal scrap from the works territory. In order to stop the destruction of the company the Ordzhonikidze district court of Zaporozhye region arrested all the property of the works. (Ukrainian Metal)
