In January-May Ukraine exported 18.77 million tons of iron ore, up by 13.8%, worth a total of $926.09 million, down by 44.1%, YoY.

The main importers of Ukrainian iron ore were China (46.04%), Poland (10.25%) and the Czech Republic (10.55%).

At the same time Ukraine imported 934,08 tons of iron ore, down by 34.4%, worth a total of $45.99 million, down by 62.8% YoY. The main supplier of iron ore to Ukraine in the first five months of the year, despite its military operation in the East of the country, was Russia, which supplied 99.98% of the total import volume.
