In January-March hot-rolled steel rods exports from Ukraine to Russia fell 3 times, to mere 24 thousand tons YoY.
In 2014 Russia imported 610 thousand tons of hot-rolled steel, with 50% on behalf of Ukraine.
Meanwhile Ukraine imported 73.5 thousand tons of hot-rolled steel, twice less than in January-March 2014.
Exports into Russia are to fall even further, due to a weak Rouble and Ukrainian metallurgy difficulties. (Ukrainian Metal)
