Poltava Mining and Processing Works (PGOK) plans to produce 11.54 million tons of iron ore pellets in 2015, up by 4.7%, or by 519 thousand tons, YoY.
According to the company statement, of this quantity 9.44 million tons will be high quality pellets of 65% iron content concentrate. Moreover, 11.3 million tons of pellets will be produced from the company’s own raw materials.
“2014 was successful for PGOK, despite the difficult political and economical situation in Ukraine and on the world iron ore raw materials market. We produced the largest volumes of pellets since the start – 11.02 million tons (including 5.8 million tons of 65% iron content pellets)”, said a company representative. (Ukrainian metal)
