Zaporizhstal has halted its blast furnace #2 for capital repairs.
According to a company press release, the furnace produces around 3.2 thousand tons of pig iron daily.
Repairs will last for 60 days and would require 1500 workers. The reconstruction is expected to cost 200 million UAH.
As the result of an overhaul the product quality and energy efficiency will rise. (Ukrainian metal)
