ArcelorMIttal Kriviy Rih has changed its target markets, by increasing exports due to the demand fall on the local market.
According to ArcelorMittal head Lakshmi Mittal, “Ukrainian domestic market has collapsed. While manufactirng processes carry on, we export larger lots of rolled metal, than planned”.
ArcelorMittal has also changed its forecasts on CIS steel consumption. The company expected the rise to be on the level of 2.5%, but now expects the demand for steel to grow by 1.5%. (Ukrainian metal)
