In 2013 Ukrainian metal companies increased steel output by 1%, to 32.684 million tons, as compared with 2012.

Rolled metal output in 2013 totaled 29.038 million tons, on the level of 2012, while pig iron production went up by 2%, to 29.111 million tons.

Pipe manufacture dropped by 20%, to 1.615 million tons, while coke output fell by 7%, to 17.59 million tons.

In 2012 Ukraine decreased rolled metal output by 9%, to 28.957 million tons, steel output by 7%, to 32.394 million tons, and pig iron manufacture by 1%, to 28.513 million tons, all on year-on-year basis.

Pipe manufacture fell by 9%, to 2.014 million tons, metal wares output decreased by 19%, to 211 thousand tons, and coke production went down by 3%, to 18.931 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
