Zaporizhstal, a part of the Metinvest Group, considers the Russian market to be important for the company and intends to continue metal supplies to it and continue to meet the needs of Russian customers.
Mr. Rostyslav Shurma, director general of Zaporizhstal, said at a press conference in Zaporizhia on the occasion of signing a contract with Progress Group LLC (Berdychiv-based machine building plant Progress) to perform gas treatment work for sintering machine No 2, that the Russian market was a traditional one for the enterprise’s products.
He said that “The number one priority for us is Ukraine, the Ukrainian market, the Ukrainian suppliers of equipment and materials, and today’s event is a striking confirmation of our policy. The Russian market is also very important for us, we have been cooperating with many companies in Russia for several decades”.
