According to the data issued by Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, in the first seven months of the current year Ukraine registered a 1% decrease in its finished steel product output to 17.147 million metric tons, a 0.2% decrease in its crude steel output to 19.350 million metric tons and a 0.9% rise in its pig iron production to 16.951 million metric tons, all YoY.
The country’s production of metallurgical coke in the given period went down by 9% YoY to 10.343 million metric tons.
In July Ukraine produced 2.808 million metric tons of crude steel, up by 2.9% MoM. (SteelGuru)
