In the January to July period of the current year the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 3.6595 million tons, up by 18.9% YoY.
In addition, in the first seven months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 16.3% increase YoY in its finished steel output to 3.1636 million tons. During the period in question, pig iron production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 21.6% YoY to 3.2082 million tons.
In July alone crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 28% to 544,100 tons, output of finished steel went up by 34.6% to 480,500 tons and production of pig iron moved up by 31.2% to 477,500 tons.
During July ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih mastered production of class A-III (A400) 40 mm diameter rebars according to GOST Standard 5781. (SteelOrbis)
