ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the global steel giant ArcelorMittal, has stated that 500 tons of rebar, produced by the mill, have been used in the reconstruction of the international airport in Lviv.
Standard rebars with diameters of 8 mm, 10 mm, 12mm and 32 mm, produced by ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, were applied for strengthening of concrete-steel constructions in the foundation for the new terminal for passengers and for reconstruction of the landing strip of the airport in Lviv.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih rebar was also used in construction of other key facilities in Ukraine amid preparations for Euro 2012. (SteelOrbis)
