ArcelorMittal’s Ukrainian unit said steel production fell by 5.9% in October from the same month a year ago as the mill continued to upgrade, necessitating the stopping of some equipment.
ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih said that output declined to 527,900 tons from 560,800 tons.
According to the statement, steel production declined to 4.6 million tons in the first ten months of the year from 5.09 million tons in the same period last year. (Bloomberg.net)
