Ukraine increased production of pig iron, steel and rolled products by 6-10% YoY in the first 10 months of 2011 and boosted pipe output by 34%, but reduced production of iron ore pellets by 2%.
A representative of the Industrial Policy Ministry said, production in the 10 months rose by 10% to 25.394 million tons of rolled products, by 8% to 29.054 million tons of steel and by 6% to 24.083 million tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian Journal)
