Ukraine’s largest steelmaker, ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih reduced output of crude steel by 10.2% YoY to 1.83 million tons in January through April down from 2.04 million tons produced a year ago.
AMKR also reduced output of rolled steel by 9.8% YoY to 1.6 million tons, while production of pig iron dropped by 12.1% YoY to 1.57 million tons. (Ukrainian Journal)
