In the January to April period of the current year the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 1.838 million tons, down by 10% YoY. In addition, in the first 4 months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 12% decrease YoY in its finished steel output to 1.573 million tons.
During the period in question coke production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih rose by 2% to 889,000 tons, while its iron ore concentrate output increased by 2% to 2.875 million tons both on the YoY basis. (SteelOrbis)
