It is reported that in January to August Ukraine increased its imports of direct reduced iron and hot briquetted iron by 2.7 times compared to the same period last year to 215,600 tons.
In August the country’s DRI/HBI imports went up 65.33 times to 19,600 tons from just 300 tons in July. In June Ukraine did not import any DRI/HBI. (SteelOrbis)
