According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, as of September 1st Russia and other countries utilized 86.23% of the annual quota imposed by Ukraine for seamless steel casing and tubing imports with outside diameter up to 406.4 mm, supplying a total of about 13,133 tons.
In August Ukraine did not import any seamless steel casing and tubing. The total quota for the period starting from October 1st 2009 through September 30th 2010 stands at 15,230 tons of seamless steel casing and tubing imports, up by 726 tons compared to the previous annual quota.
