It is reported that Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky, a subsidiary of the Ukrainian steelmaker Industrial Union of Donbass, plans in late April to start the capital repairs of its blast furnace No 9 and of its continuous billet caster No 1.
During the capital repairs DMKD will replace the units’ main equipment, which has registered significant levels of deterioration. (SteelOrbis)
