It’s reported that due to strong demand from East Asia, CIS’s export price of rebar and wire rod for September delivery went up this week by around USD 50 per tonne separately to the level of USD 460 per tonne.
Currently CIS’s prices, though increased, still USD 20 per tonne lower than Turkey offer which stays at USD 480 per tonne which is more attractive to buyers from North Africa and Lebanon. (YIEH.corp)
