According to the data for the H1 of 2009, Ukrainian exports of steel pipes decreased by 31.7%YoY to 655,080 tonnes, semi finished steel product exports dropped by 14.9% to 6.001 million tonnes, its exports of flat rolled steel decreased by 40.2% YoY to about 2.752 million tonnes and its exports of long steel dropped by 38.4%YoY to 2.245 million tonnes all compared to the corresponding period of 2008.On the other hand, in January to June 2009 Ukraine ferroalloy exports reach 244,190 tonnes down by 59।4%YoY, pig iron exports reach 650,240 tonnes down by 12.8%YoY and coke exports reach to 385,560 tonnes down by 14.5%YoY.
