In 2017 Asha Iron and Steel Works will go on with its program to modernize its industrial capacities. In particular, the company plans to start producing a new type of rolled metal and complete the construction of the steel thermal treatment furnace, which began in December 2016.
“Our other goal is to get the loan for the sheet-rolling shop No. 3 reconstruction. We have already held the preliminary negotiations and are preparing all the necessary documents”, the company said.
The reconstruction will allow AMZ to start producing rolled sheets with 5-70 mm thickness and 2.5-12 m width. (Ukrainian metal)
