The current government of Ukraine believes that closing down of profitless mines will solve all the problems in the state coal industry.
“We have mines where mining costs 2-4 times as much as on the market”, said the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman.
According to him, coal industry if very problematic from the point of view of coal mining.
“That is why we have to restructure the mines and not accumulate salary debts”, he added.
In budget-2017 Ukraine has 800 million UAH for coalmining companies restructuring.
At the same time 1 billion UAH will be spent to support state mines. (Ukrainian metal)
