In June Severstal-Metiz produced the record-high volume of fiber – almost 1.5 thousand tons. 62% of the products were exported to Europe, and the rest was shipped to CIS countries and Russian customers. In May the steel sections shop of Severstal-Metiz set a record of bulk output (2.923 thousand tons) and sales (over 3 thousand tons). “Severstal-Metiz is actively developing various product routes and expanding sales markets. Severstal-Metiz has passed the audit of its key client – the automobile components manufacturer Sherdel Kaluga. Following the audit the company was granted the highest rating. In 2017 Severstal-Metiz started manufacturing over 100 new types of products, having increased its product range. Among them are new types of steel sections, railroad fasteners and gauged rolled metal, etc. In particular, last year Severstal-Metiz started producing railroad screw with fixed nut and became the exclusive supplier of Vossloh fasteners in Russia.
