Ukraine: Group DF ilmenite concentrate manufacture down in 2022

In 2022, Group DF decreased ilmenite concentrate manufacture by 27% YoY, to 103.6 thousand tons. Ilmenite ore mining dropped by 36.8%, to 1798 million cubic meters. Despite this fall, tax payments increased by 49.3%, to 195.4 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)

Group DF has invested 74.5 million UAH into the project of a new mining and processing works construction in Zhitomir region. The new company will be called Stremigorodsky GOK and would specialize in mining and processing of ilmenite ore.
