Russia: SinTZ expands pipe machinery range

Sinarsky Pipe Works has commissioned new machinery to produce couplings of various sizes for high-strength pipes with Premium joints.

The VSC-400 SM coupling sleeve making machine (EMAG) has been assembled in the oil segment pipes shop.

This is the 8th machine. The previous 7 were commissioned in 2000-2015. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: STZ net profit down in January-September 2018

In January-September Sinarsky Pipe Works received 649.84 million rubles of net profit, down from 1.14 billion rubles in 9 months of 2017.

Revenue grew by 17%, to 32.52 billion rubles.

Sales profit dropped from 2.1 billion rubles to 1.2 billion rubles.

Short-term liabilities increased from 65.6 million rubles to 3 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: STZ profits down in H1 2018

In January-June Sinarsky Pipe Works received 337.76 million rubles of net profit, down 3-fold YoY.

Net profit in Q2 exceeded 243.7 million rubles, up from 94 million rubles in Q1.

Revenue in H1 reached 21.44 billion rubles, up by 16% YoY.

In Q2 revenue increased by 5% QoQ, to 10.98 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)

At the same time the company revenue increased by 1.5 billion rubles, to 10.45 billion rubles.

Russia: SinTZ supplies Surgutneftegaz with casing pipes

Sinarsky Pipe Works (a part of TMK) has produced a batch of casing 146.1 mm diameter pipes with the total weight of 788.7 tons and shipped them to Sugrutneftegaz.

The pipes will be used in gas, gas-condensate and oil fields of the North at minus 600 degrees C. (Ukrainian metal)
