Velta has started restoring 60% of its capacities lost in the fire a year ago.
In September the company started financing the reconstruction of its factory #1 in the gravity concentration shop at its ilmenite works in Kirovograd region.
After the devastating fire only factory #2 was working. After the reconstruction the company will reach its full capacity – 300 thousand tons of ilmenite per year.
“The repair has begun, and we plan to finish it next spring. Putting into operation is scheduled for April”, said the company commercial director Noshrevan Rurua. (Ukrainian metal)
