PrJSC Zaporizhkoks, one of the largest producers of coke for the metallurgy industry in Ukraine, reduced its production by 39.9% in August compared to the previous month, to 38.1 thousand tons.
Compared to August 2025, this figure decreased by 52.1%.
In January-August, the company produced 535.9 thousand tons of blast furnace coke, down by 9.6%.
As is known, the decline in August production volumes, as in the previous month, is due to a decrease in coal concentrate supplies to the company. The reason is the blockade of Ukrainian Black Sea ports due to regular Russian attacks on international merchant vessels, particularly those delivering raw materials for the Ukrainian metallurgical industry.
