Metinvest Group’s Zaporizhstal plant successfully passed a recertification audit for compliance of hot-rolled and cold-rolled products with the requirements of EN 10025 and EN 10130 standards.
On February 23-24, auditors from Technical and Management Services LLC, a corporate partner of the German concern TUV SUD UKRAINE, checked the production technology of hot-rolled and cold-rolled products at Zaporizhstal.
The key areas of the audit were the main rolling mills: the hot-rolling mill and the cold-rolling mill. The experts paid special attention to studying the processes of organizing and conducting product testing for mechanical properties in the laboratories of the plant’s product testing and certification center. As part of the inspection, the auditors examined the regulatory, technical and organizational documentation that the plant adheres to in the production of rolled products.
The inspectors highly appreciated the stability of production processes, the consistency of technological operations and the appropriate level of product quality control that the plant provides in wartime conditions.
According to the results of the inspection, Zaporizhstal received a certificate of compliance of hot-rolled and cold-rolled products with the requirements of the EN 10025-1:2004 standard (Annex ZA), the Building Regulations 305/2011/EU and the EN 10130 standard, valid for three years. (Zaporizhstal)
