Zaporizhstal of Metinvest Group continues to implement the corporate program “Working Conditions” to improve the comfort of working conditions for metallurgists.
In 2025, the enterprise carried out major repairs of sanitary and household premises in the open-hearth shop, the shop of control and measuring instruments and automation, the road transport department and the central electrical laboratory; the sanitary and household premises of the water supply shop are being repaired.
The total amount of investment in the renovation of facilities in 2025 exceeds UAH 13 million. The total area of the renovated premises will be 530 sq. m, and they will be used by at least 450 employees of the enterprise.
In particular, the plant recently put into operation an updated sanitary and household premises of the open-hearth shop with an area of over 280 sq. m. The facility underwent major repairs with a complete replacement of engineering networks, window and door blocks, plumbing equipment, and a complex of finishing works was also carried out. The premises are equipped with hair dryers and air conditioning systems, and new individual cabinets for storing personal belongings are installed. The updated space will be used by 145 employees of Zaporizhstal.
In 2026, the implementation of the “Working Life” program will be continued. The program plans to further update the sanitary and household premises of the open-hearth shop and the water supply shop, install water heaters, and equip a modern laundry complex. (Zaporizhstal)
