Uzbekistan: metallurgical output reaches 184.4 trillion sums in January–October 2025

In January-October, the value of metallurgical production in Uzbekistan amounted to 184.4 trillion sums, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

Compared with the same period of 2024, the indicator increased by 1.9%, reflecting moderate growth in the sector amid sustained demand from industry and infrastructure projects.

Navoi region remains the key center of metallurgical production, accounting for 105.5 trillion sums. Significant volumes were also recorded in Tashkent region at 51.1 trillion sums and in the city of Tashkent at 19.1 trillion sums.

Among other regions, the highest figures were reported in Samarkand region with 5.4 trillion sums, Namangan region with 960.5 billion sums, Syrdarya region with 854.5 billion sums, and Ferghana region with 320.5 billion sums.

Lower levels of metallurgical output were registered in Jizzakh region at 275.4 billion sums, Surkhandarya region at 250.9 billion sums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 202.8 billion sums, Bukhara region at 167.8 billion sums, as well as Khorezm region at 58 billion sums, Andijan region at 107.5 billion sums, and Kashkadarya region at 34.3 billion sums.
