The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister Ulugbek Yusupov and representatives of the Turkish company Aydeniz Group.
The parties discussed prospects for launching new investment projects in Uzbekistan’s mining sector. The Uzbek side also presented the measures being taken to create a favorable investment climate in the industry.
Special emphasis was placed on ensuring transparency and openness in the allocation of promising subsoil plots, which are offered through open auctions involving both domestic and foreign investors. (UzDaily)
