In January-July, Ukraine increased ferrous scrap exports by 46.9% YoY, to 149.23 thousand tons.
According to the State Customs Service, the most was shipped to Poland – 127.31 thousand. Greece imported 16.9 thousand tons of scrap and Germany – 4.76 thousand tons.
Average monthly exports amounted to 21.32 thousand tons, up from 14.52 thousand tons last year.
In July, Ukraine exported 24.7 thousand tons of scrap, up by 11.5% MoM and by 158.2% YoY.
Export revenue over 7 months grew by 60.4%, to $47.8 million, while in July – by 16.7% MoM and by 215.6% YoY, to $8.04 million.
Ukrainian procurers export around 15% of scrap, and the volume exceed 20 thousand tons, coming close to pre-war volumes. (Ukrainian metal)
