Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant resumed operation on May 1. The company has been idle since March 2023 due to high electricity prices and low ferroalloy prices on global markets.
According to the company chairman Pavlo Kravchenko, at present electricity is still very expensive.
“We have launched two furnaces, 7% of our capacities,” he said.
The company has no plans to increase output. (Ukrainian metal)
