Zaporizhstal is suspending the operation of its blast furnace No. 2 for a week.
“During repair, filling device will be replaced, machinery of the foundry yard, hydraulics and lubrication systems will be repaired. Moreover, it is planned to repair metal structures and rails of the bunker bridge,” the company reported.
In January-April, Zaporizhstal increased rolled metal output by 59.4% YoY, to 844.8 thousand tons, pig iron by 46.5%, to 1.05 million tons, and steel by 56.1%, to 1.01 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
