In January-April, Ukraine procured 563.4 thousand tons of metal scrap, up by 53.7% YoY.
Local deliveries to metal plants grew by 52.3%, to 446 thousand tons.
Exports increased by 54.9%, to 87.4 thousand tons, while imports went up 5-fold, to 0.36 thousand tons.
In 2023, Ukraine increased scrap exports by 28% YoY, to 1.277 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
