The counselor of the Mariupol mayor Petro Andryuschenko has reported that the railroad, which links Volnovakha to Rostov-on-Don via Mariupol, will start operating in late May or early June.
“In April and early May, three trial trains ran from Volnovakha to the port of Mariupol and back. From Volnovakha they brought kaolin and ore, which was loaded onto a Liberian vessel that was stolen last year. And from the Mariupol port the train left empty – to test the railroad,” he said.
According to him, the railroad, that the Russians are building near the Granitne settlement has almost been completed. (Ukrainian metal)
