The Canada Border Service Agency has launched an investigation on the imposition of antidumping duties to find out whether certain rebars from Bulgaria are sold at antidumping prices in Canada.
The investigation results from the claims by ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, GP, Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation and AltaSteel Inc.
Rebars from Thailand and the UAE will also be checked.
The decision will be taken within 90 days, after which preliminary duty might be applied. (Ukrainian metal)
