In January-September, Ukraine increased import of copper and copper wares by 89.7% YoY, to $90.098 million.
According to the State Customs Service, exports dropped by 22.8%, to $55.019 million.
In September, Ukraine imported $12.81 million worth of copper and exported $4.822 million.
Nickel imports over 9 months dropped by 76.4%, to $11.632 million ($595 thousand in September), while aluminum increased by 14.8%, to $274.988 million ($31.004 million).
Lead imports fell by 64.6%, to $872 thousand ($151 thousand), tin – by 26.4%, to $2.052 million ($419 thousand), but zinc grew by 20.4%, to $33.988 million (5.213 million).
Aluminum exports in January-September decreased by 5.6%, to $71.63 million ($8.344 million in September), lead went up by 19.4%, to $11.19 million ($1.324 million), and nickel totaled $256 thousand ($55 thousand), down from $1.079 million last year.
Zinc exports amounted to $88 thousand (no exports in September) as opposed to $1.302 million last year, and tin – $57 thousand ($3 thousand) vs. $420 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
