Centravis has solved the problem of water supplies in Nikopol, after Russian terrorist troops destroyed the Kakhovka HPP dam.
“This catastrophe did not affect our output volumes directly. Yet, we had to make a new water supply line. In conditions, when there was enemy on the other side of the river. We all understood the risks. And yet we’ve managed to do it and now have water. We operate stably. Yet the situation with the water for the citizens is much worse,” the company CEO Yuri Atanasov has said.
“We can supply water to the city, covering its needs by about 15%. And that’s what we are doing now, otherwise the situation would have been critical,” he added.
Yet, according to Atanasov, a new water supply line must be built for the city, and it takes time.
“They have already started building a water pipeline from Zaporizhzhya to Marhanets, Nikopol and Kriviy Rih. We hope for a result in a couple of months, and that Nikopol gets all the water it needs,” he said. (Ukrainian metal)
