Zaporizhstal has repaired the air-separation machine PRU-60 in the oxygen-compressor shop, which produces technological and medical oxygen.
The repair was carried out by the specialists of the company and Metinvest-Promservice.
With the help of the machine air is separated into components (oxygen, nitrogen, argon) due to various temperature regimes. The gaseous technological oxygen is then transported via pipelines to the steel and blast furnace shops, while liquid oxygen is loaded in special tanks and delivered to medical institutions.
