In January-March, the United Mining and Chemical Company’s gross income decreased to 208 million UAH from 313 million UAH last year. In Q1 2021, the income totaled 924 million UAH.
Net loss increased to 109 million UAH from 84 million UAH.
Output in April-May was only 30% of the previous year level.
The state mining and processing works, which are a part of UMCC, have also seen better times. Irshansk GOK has been idle since October 2022, and none can say when it will resume operation. Volnogorsk GOK operated for 10 days in April and would work for 10 days in May.
The State Property Fund intends to auction UMMC in late 2023. (Ukrainian metal)
