Ukraine: places in steel and pig iron producer indexes lost
In 2022, Ukraine dropped to the 24th place among global steel producers, according to Worldsteel. Ukraine produced 6.26 million tons of steel, down by 70.69% YoY. Pig iron manufacture decreased by 69.8%, to 6.39 million tons, resulting in Ukraine landing on the 15th place among 40 global producers. (Ukrainian metal)
