After the partial relaunch of the manufacturing process, Zaporizhstal is now operating at 40-50% of its capacity.
According to the company CEO Alexander Mironenko, the production at the plant was mothballed for 33 days due to war. Moreover, there were problems with logistics – delivery of raw materials and shipping of products.
“After the front line was moved away from Zaporozhye, we received an opportunity to resume manufacture. At first foundry, mechanical and by-product departments were launched,” he said.
Metinvest plants in Kriviy Rih operate at 40% of capacities mostly due to logistics and sales markets. (Ukrainian metal)
