Yuzhniy Mining and Processing Works has switched to operation according to martial law and will meet its target to produce iron ore concentrate in March.
On March 16, the company carried out a controlled explosion, the first since the war started. The volume of rock available for excavation is 350 thousand cubic meters.
Iron ore concentrate is shipped to Europe via railroad. Delivery to Asia and North Africa has been suspended due to the Black Sea blockade by the Russian Navy. (Ukrainian metal)
