The chairman of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine Roman Opimakh has held a meeting with the head of the Marubeni Corporation representative office in Ukraine Ashitani Yasukhiro.
The corporation is interested in “green” investments in Ukraine and raw materials to produce batteries for electric cars and devices. In particular, they are interested in subsoil plots with deposits of lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite and fluorite. The corporation plans to invest in the development of mineral raw materials by participating in auctions.
The State Service has presented information of respective subsoil plots with their size, location and resources. (Ukrainian metal)
