In January-June, Ukraine procured 1.97 million tons of scrap, up by 42.2% YoY.
The growth was due to high purchasing prices and the activity of exporters.
Deliveries to metal companies went up by 26.3%, to 1653.3 thousand tons.
Exports amounted to 230.9 thousand tons, up almost 14-fold YoY.
Imports totaled 12.6 thousand tons, up by 36.6%. (Ukrainian metal)
