The combined gold production of companies in Magadan region rose by 6.01%, to 49.143 tons in 2020, the regional government said in a statement on January 20.
Output of lode gold rose by 8.64%, to 30.363 tons, and of alluvial gold by 2.02%, to 18.78 tons.
Silver output fell by 13.48%, to 572.485 tons.
In 2019, the region’s gold output grew by 25.4%, to 46.356 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
