In early May, Energomashspetsstal passed an inspection of the reactor body shell for the Tianwan nuclear power plant (China).
The inspection has been passed successfully, which confirms the high quality of the shell.
The shell was made of an ingot with the weight of 415 tons. Its height is 4.7 m, diameter – 3.9 m and weight – 125 tons.
According to a contract concluded in July 2019, EMSS will have to produce components of power units Nos. 7 and 8 of the NPP.
So far the company has produced 115 billets. Contract amount is 3504 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
