In February, Kazakhstan increased raw steel manufacture by 15.5% YoY, to 275,437 tons. In 2 months output grew by 34.3%, to 618,759 tons.
Rolled metal manufacture in February totaled 154,394 tons and in 2 months – 327,511 tons, up by 37% and by 79.3% respectively.
Ferroalloys output increased by 2.5% in February, to 171,563 tons, and in January-February – by 3.8%, to 361,184 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
