In 2020 Rusal will spend 5.2 billion rubles to modernize Sayanogorsk and Khakassk Aluminum Plants.
The HAZ foundry department and SAZ electrode manufacture will see the largest projects.
In particular, a raw aluminum purification system will be installed in the 10-ton ladles at HAZ.
SAZ will modernize its anode pelletizing furnaces. The program will be carried out in stages. In 2020 investments will exceed 3.6 billion rubles. Until 2023 investments will total almost 12 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
